Save the date for our Summer 2025 RAW Taiko Fundraiser! RAW Taiko is an arts non-profit and a registered charity, and despite the huge growth of our programs in the past 4 years, we remain a small grassroots organization that relies heavily on project grants, donors, sponsors, and good ol’ elbow grease and volunteer time from our community. On July 6th, we invite you to our studio to give back to RAW through an evening of taiko performance, raffle prizes, karaoke, mahjong, food, drinks and more! When: July 6th, 5pm-9pm Where: Studio RAW (1220 Dupont St, 2nd floor) Cost: PWYC - Any amount will be accepted at the door (cash or card), OR you can reserve a ticket online now for a minimum donation of $20. Tickets purchased online come with 1 free raffle ticket, redeemed at the door. Who is this event for: This is an all ages event and attendance is open to anyone who is eager to support RAW! EVENT SCHEDULE & HIGHLIGHTS 5PM - Doors open. Food & Drink sales begin and continue all evening while supplies last! (Food & Drink details TBA) 6PM - Performances begin 7PM - Raffle draw, karaoke & mahjong! (Raffle details TBA) Accessibility: Studio RAW is located up one flight of stairs with a handrail. Once in the studio, there are no additional steps. We recently had a chair lift installed in our stairwell - If you are planning to attend and might make use of the chair lift, send us an email at studio@rawtaiko.ca so we can ensure a volunteer is available to assist with lift operation and downstairs door access (there is no push button). Studio RAW has 1 small all-gender bathroom. COVID Policy: In line with RAW’s values of community care and carving out safer spaces for those most vulnerable in our communities, Studio RAW is a masked venue. All attendees ages 18+ are asked to wear a mask when not eating or drinking. A HEPA filter will be running and we have free masks at the door for anyone requiring one. — Want to donate an item or service to our RAFFLE?
