Monthly QTBIPOC Taiko Drop-In

Service Description

1st Friday of every month, 6:30-8PM If you are Queer and/or Trans, and a Black, Indigenous or People of Color community member (18+), join us for some gentle body movement, learning of taiko rhythms, and to find joy in playing together! A variety of playing styles and content will be taught from month to month. Sign-up is required in order to secure a spot. No prior taiko experience necessary. Variations will be provided for participants at differing experience levels. This program is open exclusively to participants who identify as Queer/Trans *and* Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour. $ Pay-What-You-Want Update (Dec 2025): Payment is now processed online with registration but our system does not allow for a $0 option - if you require a no-cost spot, email studioraw@rawtaiko.ca with subject line "QTBIPOC Drop-In" ***January 2026 drop-in will take place on the 9th (2nd Friday of this month) to accommodate our winter break schedule.***
