Our first ever calendar is here! Keep RAW Taiko close as we enter the new year. 
 
These beautiful high-quality photographs are of recent performances and events. More than that, they attempt to capture the range of what we do and feel together at the drum — the sweat, the focus, the solidarity, the strength. 
 
It is impossible to distil the experience of taiko in a photograph, but it is possible to let an image resound (or re-sound) a memory. So this is also our way of saying, let’s remember the ways that taiko can bring us closer together and give us energy to confront what lies ahead. 
 
You can purchase a copy for $20 + HST online or in studio! Online purchases can be set for delivery ($10 shipping within Canada, $15 shipping outside of Canada) or pick-up at Studio RAW (1220 Dupont St.) by appointment, by emailing studioraw@rawtaiko.ca

10% of proceeds from calendar sales will be donated to Through Ruff Times (TRT). TRT works to reduce barriers for people in Toronto who experience poverty, homelessness, mental health, substance use challenges, violent living conditions and/or any other self-identified challenges by offering no-cost pet care options so that people do not need to make a choice between accessing supports or losing their animal companions.
